Charting the future of finance in Asia-Pacific
Japan, Australia and South Korea

Dear Executive,

This series of high-level forums will feature off-the-record panel discussions amongst the most senior policymakers and business leaders of each region, focusing on the theme "Charting the future of finance in Asia-Pacific".

From fixing finance to the future of finance

The Bellwether Series will bring together those closest to the region's financial systems, creating a unique opportunity for policymakers, regulators and the financial community - institutions and investors - to debate and shape Asia-Pacific's contribution to the recovery of the world's financial markets.

As economies in the West slowly pull themselves out of the financial crisis and the Asia-Pacific recovery gathers steam, the Bellwether Series will provide a powerful platform for the exchange of ideas and insights. Discussion will focus on the shape of the post-crisis financial system, the challenges posed by potential regulatory changes, as well as on economic policy and new business and investment opportunities.

Why "Bellwether"?

Just as a bellwether identifies a market leader whose performance indicates market direction and serves to gauge, inspire and influence trends, Economist Conferences' Bellwether Series will examine the future of finance in Asia-Pacific as the region prepares to take its place as one of the emerging forces shaping the world's new financial order.

Never before has the direction of Asia-Pacific's financial markets been so crucial to the health of the global economy. Click here to have a voice in these critical discussions and to pre-register your interest in one or more of these Bellwether meetings.
